As Josh and I were walking up the steps to my house my heart was fluttering. What was my mum gonna say? I didnt
tell her that josh was coming over too study, but as Josh and I walked into the house my mum just looked at us and said " Hey Hayley welcome home!" " And josh, are you here to study?" A feeling of relief rushed through me, my mom wasnt mad. " Would you like some lemonade?" My mum asked. I looked at josh, He shook his head No " Um no thanks mom." Josh and I walked down the stairs to the basement and got out our school bags. "Sooo, should we start then?" Josh asked. " Umm yea, lets."
" What should we start with?" I asked. " Errrm how about history?" Josh asked. " Uh sure!"
I opened to page 121 of my history book but as i looked over I noticed that Josh was just staring out the window. " Uhh Josh? Is everything ok?" " What? Oh yea, Sorry! Just thought I saw... Never mind"
"Thats alright." All of a sudden the window crashed open and I heard 3 loud BANGS!
